I’ve worked at County Wedding Magazine for almost two years now and I’ve always admired the gorgeous venues, weddings and talented suppliers in the Kent region and I’m really excited to be working with you all for this issue!
Can you believe we’re half way through the year already?! Time seems to fly by and before you know it Christmas will be here! I hope your 2018 has been amazing so far, I’ve been busier than ever exploring new places, meeting fabulous new people and I even challenged myself to do a charity skydive – eek!
Travelling is one of my biggest passions but with so many gorgeous places to see it can be difficult choosing just one. To help give you heaps of inspiration for your own post-vows getaway we’ve put together a jam-packed honeymoon section including Mexico on page 123.

Mount Ephraim Gardens
Mount Ephriam is a Grade II listed Victorian manor house situated in more than ten acres of stunning countryside. Originally built in 1695, the property was demolished and rebuilt in 1878, and was eventually extended to include luxurious guest bedrooms in the 1900s.
It boasts beautiful Edwardian gardens that include a lake, water garden, arboretum and a grass maze. It has a modern interior throughout with a glass skylight, cantilevered staircase and five bedrooms for you and your guests to choose from.
From 2019 lovebirds will be able to hire the Garden Wing – a fully furnished, self catering space that can sleep up to 12 people.
Couples can tie the knot in the Main Hall or in the Gardens, with 110 guests for the ceremony and 175 for the reception.
Alternatively, a Marquee can be erected in the grounds, creating space for 250 of your nearest and dearest for the wedding breakfast and evening celebration.
Newlyweds will receive a complimentary menu and wine tasting in the run up to your big day, accommodation in the Sir Edwyn Suite on the night of the wedding and preferential room rates on your anniversary.
