Your Kent Wedding - May/June 2022 (Issue 102)

Jo says that seeing me walking down the aisle towards her will be something that’ll stay with her forever. Our rustic table plan included two other crossed out dates, cancelled due to Covid. The bridal bouquets featured pink roses and gypsophila, while the bridesmaids’ were purely gypsophila. The marquee was decorated with rustic-style bunting. We also had a wooden pallet with a poem on it and a personalised welcome sign. For our wedding favours we wrote personalised messages for each guest on a scroll and placed them in bottles along with a scratch card and mints. The place names and table numbers were cut from wood and we kept our centrepieces simple. Jars and milk bottles were filled with lights, gypsophila and pink roses and placed on a log base. Our two-tier semi-naked cake was decorated with sugar flowers. 38
