While they loved their previous premises in Faversham, they ultimately decided that the popular boutique had outgrown the location and the time had come to move to a bigger shop. Happily, the perfect spot in Burgate, Canterbury, presented itself and was able to maintain the same warm and relaxed feel the Faversham boutique had. The new look Victoria Grace Bridal finally threw open its doors on 12th April, with no less than two appointment rooms available for you to experience with your entourage as you enjoy refreshments and decide on your dream dress. It now stocks even more stunning gowns by Essense of Australia, Kenneth Winston, Ella Rosa and Victoria Kay, plus two curvy collections, meaning there’s something for everyone to try. The company is the culmination of owner Julie’s dream to move to the seaside for a new career outside of her corporate finance background. She recently put together a styled shoot to showcase her passion for her bakes as well as her location and we’re loving the results. Julie tells us, “I love our beautiful coastline and wanted to produce a shoot that showcased a gorgeous four-tier wedding cake, which blended into its surroundings. I love sage green too and so I reflected this in the decoration and chose a bottom marbled tier with highlights in the dried-flowers. The green works beautifully against the colour of the seaweed on the rocks.” Find out more at https://cakes-by-the-sea.co.uk.
