Jennifer Beale, 35, married Andrew Bills, 37, at Marleybrook House in Preston on 1st September, 2017.
My favourite part of the day was the ceremony. I found myself squeezing my dad's arm really tight as we began walking down the aisle, but my face lit up as soon as I saw Andrew. I couldn't thank my dad enough for being there. He's given me so much, and it was amazing being able to share that moment with him.
My dress was designed by Ronald Joyce, and I purchased it from I Do Weddings in Whitstable. It was a fitted lace gown with an illusion neckline, and as soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one.
For our favours, we purchased flower seeds. These went down a treat with our guests, as they loved the idea of planting them and having a lasting memory of our big day.
We purchased our big-day bake from Sally4Cakes. She did an amazing job. It was three tiers and was made using vanilla sponge, chocolate, amaretto cherry and lemon.
Our wooden place numbers from Ginger Ray made each table stand out and were simple to use without the need for holders.
We wanted a band to play in the evening, and as soon as we heard Liberty Park perform, we knew they were the perfect choice. They also offered a disco for between their sets, which was great and meant we didn't need to hire a DJ. They went above and beyond for us, and they even took special requests from our friends and family – that was amazing.
To entertain our guests, we had a vintage fun fair with Victorian swing boats, a big wheel, a high striker and traditional side stalls, games and props.
During the ceremony, I was really emotional, but as the day went on, we started to relax and once the reception started, we were ready to party!
Rookies Bus provided the transport for the wedding party. I couldn't fault them; Steve Rorke and his conductor were so friendly, and the bus was beautifully presented with a traditional ribbon. Steve waited until after the ceremony had finished so we could take some photographs with it, and the pictures turned out great.
Our big day was absolutely perfect, and we wouldn't change a thing.
