Penshurst Place and Gardens in the Weald of Kent will be holding its first Wedding Open Day of 2020 on 8th February between 10am and 3pm.

A 14th-century country manor house, Penshurst Place is surrounded by 11 acres of walled Tudor gardens. It scooped the top category of Wedding Venue of the Year 2019 in the Kent Wedding Awards for the third time, with judges describing it as "a quintessentially English venue, brimming with romance, elegance and style."

At the wedding open day, you'll will be able to look around the venue and see it dressed for a ceremony. The three historic banqueting rooms of different size and external private courtyard garden will be available to view with each offered for use as a ceremony or reception space.

Penshurst Place’s wedding coordinators will be on hand to give guided tours, useful tips and answer any questions you may have, as will specialist suppliers offering photography, floristry, entertainment, fireworks and much more. All weddings held at Penshurst Place are on an exclusive use basis, meaning you have the option to use the different spaces as you choose.

Ben Thomas, general manager at Penshurst Place and Gardens says, “We strive to provide couples with an opportunity to celebrate their day in a unique and personal way. As we are a privately owned venue, we have plenty of flexibility to deliver ‘your day, your way’; nothing is too much trouble.”

If you attend the open day you'll receive a goody bag full of useful information to help you plan your wedding celebration. To register for the open day, or to find out more, call 01892 870307 or email banqueting@penshurstplace.com
