The new pub was officially opened at the end of September by Deputy Mayor, Cllr John Link and the Deputy Mayoress, Mrs Jill Link.
The main dining room has 120 covers, the private dining room 22, the bar 60, garden 150 and the covered terrace area with a burger shack has 50.
This is pub number nine for Elite Pubs, all of which are located in Kent and East Sussex. Most of the sites are country dining pubs, with outdoor space and are family friendly, offering different experiences throughout the year. The latest big site, The Herbalist, opened last May in Maidstone town centre alongside a late-night cocktail venue, Junipers. The Cow Shed, a quirky cocktail bar and event space was also recently launched in West Malling.
