Cold Weather Cocktails Arrive at the Pearson’s Arms

Cold Weather Cocktails Arrive at the Pearson’s Arms: Image 1 As the nights start to draw in, head down to the Pearson’s Arms and let the mixologist’s creations keep you warm on these increasingly chilly evenings. Welcome the winter with hot gin and pear, the bramble cocktail, Belgian hot chocolate with liquor, winter rum punch and toast the festivities with the Pearson's Arms mulled wine, made from Jake's secret recipe.

Like a snug pair of your favourite slippers the hot gin and pear cocktail is familiar but don’t be fooled, this is a cocktail to keep the cold out and the warm in. With ingredients like gin liqueur, gin, pear juice and ginger bitters, steamed and served with slices of orange and pear and a cinnamon stick, this cocktail packs a real punch.

Calling all chocoholics out there - this one is for you! Made using white, milk or dark Belgian melted chocolate buttons, hot milk and your choice of liquor. Try Cointreau for a chocolate orange flavour or Bailey's for hit of Irish cream. Wrap your hands around this cup of heaven and luxuriate in the sweet aroma and silky smooth taste.

Classically autumnal, the bramble cocktail brings a fruity kick from the Créme De Mure, gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and crushed ice. The Bramble cocktail will leave you feeling all warm inside.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a classic mulled wine. Forget anything you've ever tasted before, this is the real deal using Jake's secret recipe. Relax in to Christmas with this merry festive favourite.

The Pearson’s Arms is located on the seafront in Whitstable and prides itself on using fresh ingredients and locally sourced food in its seasonal menus. As well as the summer cocktails, the bar serves fine wine, local ales and spirits. Experience live music on Sunday and Tuesday evenings as well as the last Friday of the month.
