The do's and don'ts of having pets at weddings
Are you considering including your dog in your wedding festivities? While it can be a lovely way to...
As the Corona crisis took its grip wedding after wedding was postponed Lara's heart went out to the distraught brides. For the last of her weddings, the bride decided to do her own make-up due to the government restrictions and Lara was happy to lend a virtual hand.
Lara says, "We used Zoom, which was a first for me. I was able to guide her through all the steps on the products we had used in the trial, reassure her and help her recreate the style we'd chosen for a long lasting application and natural look that complemented her skin tones.
"With hardly any bookings left until the autumn it was such a positive experience through Zoom that I started offering some free consultations through social media to future brides. I was really surprised with the uptake and it has given the brides to be a chance to meet me, feel more comfortable with the styles I can offer. I can find out a lot about the look the bride is looking for and the best potential products to help make the day that extra but special.
"The result has been six confirmed trials and two actual bookings for 2021, which I am delighted about and has helped me maintain my enthusiasm and love of makeup in a difficult time for us all."
