Fenwick Canterbury partners with fuss-free donation service Thrift+. Donate your best second-hand clothes and receive 10 per cent off your next Fenwick online order.
Fenwick has announced a new partnership with Thrift+ as part of the RETHINK. RECYCLE. RELOVE. campaign focusing on sustainability. Thrift+ is a UK-based, online donation service specialising in selling quality clothing items that deserve to be given a new lease of life with proceeds from each sale going to the donor’s chosen charity.
Donating to Thrift+ is straightforward and easy, simply add a ThriftBag to your basket alongside your latest Fenwick purchase, register with Thrift+ online and select your chosen charity, spring clean your wardrobe and fill it up with your best second-hand clothes, return it for free. Thrift+ then does all the work to upload and sell the items on its website, using automated pricing and photography technology to speed-up the process, and ensure items are sold for the right price.
Once your items sell, Thrift+ donates the proceeds to your chosen charity, and you receive a rather tidy reward of a 10 per cent off discount code to use on your next Fenwick online order. A 10 per cent discount code will be issued for every full ThriftBag donated, which measures approximately the same as a standard carry-on suitcase.
Thrift+ ideally welcomes donations of premium brands which might be found at Fenwick, but donations of everyday high street brands are also welcome if they are in new or excellent condition.
Joe Metcalfe, Co-Founder & CEO, Thrift+, said: “Our mission at Thrift+ is to help power the circular fashion economy. We are making it as easy as possible to return your clothes, so that they can be donated, resold, recycled and reused. We are delighted to be partnering with Fenwick to help their customers donate their best second-hand clothes to their favourite charity.”
Simon Youden, Store Director at Fenwick Canterbury, said: “We’re delighted to announce our brand new partnership with Thrift+ as part of our Rethink. Recycle. Relove. campaign focusing on sustainability. This partnership offers households the chance to donate their unwanted clothes, reduce waste, and give a little something back to their nominated charity. They’ll then receive a 10% discount to use when making their next purchase at Fenwick online as a little extra thank you for their support. We look forward to announcing more about the campaign in the coming weeks.”
Thrift+ is unable to accept children's or baby clothing, underwear or swimwear. Donations in the UK only, for further information and a full list of terms and conditions please check out www.thrift.plus/help
