Father's Day Afternoon Tea

Father's Day Afternoon Tea: Image 1

Leeds Castle is proud to present Father's Day Sunday Afternoon Tea in the Castle's luxurious Dining Room, with a delicious menu of sumptuous treats and a special table gift for your father-of-the-bride.

First transformed into a formal dining room in 1938 by Stephane Boudin, the room was regularly used by Lady Baillie for entertaining her illustrious weekend guests. Now Fathers and their families can experience the Dining Room in the same way; surrounded by beautiful tapestry and delicate porcelain whilst the sun streams through the long, French windows.

Guests can enjoy unlimited tea and coffee as part of our Afternoon Tea package, or treat themselves to a glass of prosecco. A wide variety of tempting sandwiches will be served including smoked salmon with avocado mayonnaise, and roasted vegetables with cream cheese aioli. Guests can also indulge in a selection of delectable delights; from chocolate macaroons to classic home-made scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

What's more, after tea, you can enjoy a round of adventure golf. Discover the 12-hole course with its miniature Leeds Castle, ferry boat and holes themed to the castle's attractions. Beautifully landscaped by the Gardening team, this fully accessible new attraction is open for families to enjoy, whatever the weather, at only £2 per adult and £1.50 per child.

If you're still stuck for a gift this Father's Day, what about a memorable Leeds Castle gift experience? Leeds Castle Falconry Experiences are sure to be unforgettable from 'Falconer for a Day' to the 'Hawk Walk' and 'Bird of Prey Photography Day'. A season ticket for the Leeds Castle course, with its spectacular views of the Castle and grounds, also makes a lovely gift. The course is open nearly every day of the year, so there's always time for 9 or 18 holes.

Father's Day Afternoon Tea on Sunday 16th June 1.30pm is available to purchase online at £45 per person. This cost includes admission to the Castle and grounds. You can also upgrade to a glass of prosecco or bottle of Champagne at an additional cost. Afternoon Tea and gift experiences can be purchased at www.leeds-castle.com/eShop.

Leeds Castle is located near Maidstone in Kent just off Junction 8 of the M20 and only one-hour's drive from London. Grounds open at 10am daily and the Castle is open from 10.30am.
