Still a private family home, which has staged many a lavish event and celebration over the centuries, offers a quintessentially English setting.

Nestled in 10 acres of award-winning gardens, with its own picture-perfect sunken pond, this charming venues offers far-reaching views across the River Medway. With stone walls, archways, secret gardens, children’s maze and winding pathways, it offers some incredible photo opportunities, and your guests are free to explore to their hearts’ content.

A menu and wine tasting experience is offered to couples booking their wedding at Nettlestead Place.

The vows
Indoor ceremonies take place in the impressive 13th-century undercroft, characterised by three Medieval pillars and vaulted setting. The ambience is incredible, offering an exclusive historic location for your exchange of vows.

If you’d rather be outdoors with the wind in your hair, the beautiful Rose Garden – with its 300-year-old lime tree and wooden gazebo – is the place to be.

Celebrate in style
Your reception will take place in the striking wedding marquee, positioned to make the most of the far-reaching views. It can accommodate 150 day guests and 200 for the evening. With wooden floors, dividing walls and a private bridal changing room, it offers couples a black canvas.
