Venue spotlight on Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa

Venue spotlight on Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa: Image 1

Built for the Duke of Norfolk in 1806, this Georgian mansion has a charming red brick facade and romantic front porch, positioned at the end of a long tree-lined drive, perfect for that special arrival and plenty of idyllic wedding photographs.
This charming hotel gives way to elegant painted oak panelling and decorative cornicing, nodding to its past as a famous country house where entertainment was king. The function suites are enriched with contemporary touches such as modern spotlighting and decorative mirrors, creating a glamorous backdrop.

Steps down from the traditional covered porch lead you on to a perfectly manicured lawn to the front of the hotel, with the smaller lawn to the rear accessed from the Terrace Suite.

Guests staying overnight can enjoy one of the hotel’s 38 bedrooms, including suites, feature rooms and more contemporary classic rooms, as well as enjoying access to the award-winning health club and spa, making for the perfect post-party wind-down.

The vows
The recently renovated Terrace Suite, the hotel’s principal function space, can seat 110 of your nearest and dearest for the ceremony. It also has access to a delightful private courtyard, with patio seating leading on to the rear lawn.

Alternatively, if a more intimate exchange of vows is what you’re looking for, you’ll also find a number of additional rooms with a wealth of period charm, capable of hosting weddings from 40 to 80 guests.

Celebrate in style
The Terrace Suite, Oak Room and Boardroom are all available for wedding breakfast dining with 30 to 110 of your loved ones. The Terrace, equipped with a new pre-function space for drinks receptions, also gives guests direct access from the front of the hotel, creating a self-contained venue.

The Atrium Bar and Lounge offers a different dimension, with exposed brickwork, a glass ceiling and plenty of dancefloor space for 150 revellers.
