A tale of two harps

2 of Harps is the only classically trained harp duo in the UK. Adel and Karina Wilson, have a vision to change any preconceptions of the classical harpist, they have a passion for playing and singing contemporary music, and their repertoire of more than 500 pieces consists of genres, from jazz and pop to Motown, rock and reggae.

The most recent additions to the duo are a flute and traditional Scottish fiddle, giving the pair freedom to explore an even wider range of new arrangements. 

So what’s next for 2 of Harps? Currently writing new music for harp and vocals, incorporating a male voice to the dulcet female tones, their latest project is well underway. The girls will also be embarking on a charity tour of Tenerife in 2019.
