Mount Ephraim opens its doors

On Sunday 28th October Mount Ephraim will be opening its doors between 11am and 3pm to newly engaged couples. Couples can view Mount Ephraim, meet the wedding team and some of their favourite suppliers and create their dream wedding.

All registrants are also in with a chance to win a night’s stay in the beautifully decorated Guest Rooms which opened last year. These luxurious guest rooms are available to book for wedding days and all wedding packages include a free night’s stay for the wedding couple in the fabulous Sir Edwyn Suite. Lucy from Mount Ephraim says: “We’ve been organising weddings at Mount Ephraim for over 20 years now. Mount Ephraim is my family home and I got married in the gardens along with all my siblings and many cousins, so we know just how special a wedding here can be. But for all those prospective couples out there, we want to show them just what their wedding day could be like, so we’ve teamed up with some of our favourite wedding suppliers to dress the venue so that couples can imagine themselves getting married here amongst our 10 acres of stunning gardens. We think we’re the perfect venue for couples looking for a relaxed, romantic country wedding in our family home with no restrictions and access to the house both the day before and day after. We’re truly flexible here and offer packages at affordable prices”.

On the day, drinks and canapes will be served from Scott Anderson Ltd as well as demonstrations from Joe’s Bows showcasing how their owls can be ring bearers for weddings. Other select partners for the day include Scott Kendall Photography, LunaFlora Films, Bohotanical, Locate to Create, HAGS Vintage Hire, Song N Dance and Yonder Stretch Tents.

The Wedding Open Day is open from 11am until 3pm on Sunday 28th October. Entry is free for Open Day guests which includes the chance to explore our ten acres of beautiful gardens and visit the Tea Room which will be opening specially for the day.
