The Heart of Kent Hospice has launched scratchcards that are ideal for weddings

To help those wanting to make a difference on their big day, the Heart of Kent hospice has now launched scratchcards, which at £1 per card could be used as place names to break the ice, additional gifts for the wedding party, or as cost-effective wedding favours.

Choosing to have these as part of your very special celebration will bring an even bigger smile to your guests' faces, as well as the patients and their families too.

It may surprise you to learn that the Heart of Kent Hospice has arranged a few weddings in its time. Director of patient services Kerry Harrison explains, “I'm so proud that our nurses and patient care volunteers have not only helped to organise weddings, but also blessings, a christening, afternoon teas, cinema nights-in and much more.”

The first thing many notice when they step into Heart of Kent Hospice is the sound of laughter. The Aylesford-based Hospice, which first opened its doors 26 years ago, has cared for more than 12,500 terminally ill patients and their families.
