Nettlestead Place offers an exclusive quintessentially English Country wedding setting with award winning gardens, striking medieval manor, a location that is genuinely a perfect wedding venue. The manor is steeped in history dating back to the 13th century and is still a family home but it can be exclusively used for wedding celebrations..
The 13th century Undercroft is a unique location for indoor wedding ceremonies and is characterised by 3 medieval pillars seating up to 120 guests. For outdoor Ceremonies our idyllic Rose Garden is the romantic setting for outdoor ceremonies,our 300 year old lime tree offers a romantic backdrop behind the Gazebo.
After the wedding ceremony guests can enjoy champagne and canapes on the broad terraces overlooking the manors sunken pond. The celebrations can continue as guests can wander through the idyllic gardens, famous throughout Europe, across manicured lawns, paths and water features, surveying the beautiful Kent countryside on their way to the wedding marquee.
Our stunning wedding marquee offers amazing views of Kent's countryside and the Medway river. Our marquee can accommodate up to 150 seated guests for wedding receptions and 200 evening guests. For larger celebrations an extension to the marquee is added.
An elegant Bridal Suite is available for changing and overnight accommodation.
