Where are the venues?
The Hop Farm is one of Kent's quintessential, landmark weddings venues. With the famous backdrop of the county's traditional oast houses, and surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens, it's an idyllic location for your special day. The wedding gardens and terraces are exclusive to each wedding and provide a wealth of jaw-dropping backdrops for your photographer to utilise. You have the luxury of choice when it comes to your ceremony, with outdoor and indoor options available. In the gardens, the wedding gazebo can host 140 guests and indoors the Whites Wedding Suite can hold the same number. Receptions, on the other hand, can also be hosted in either of the above two places with capacity for 150 loved ones, or alternatively in the Shires Wedding Suite filled with beams and facing the outdoor terrace. It's a bright space and wonderful for hosting celebrations for 150 guests.
Brenley Farm makes for a lovely rustic wedding venue in the Kent countryside.Outside on the lawn, in front of the beautiful Georgian Farmhouse, just by the duck pond and barn, you'll find a beautiful traditional gazebo, complete with Kent peg roof and timber posts. Here you can seat 100 of your nearest and dearest to witness your vows. If the weather doesn't suit, though, there's a marquee available, which can be set up in the event of rain. Inside the farmhouse, surrounded by apple and pear orchards, hop gardens and vineyards, is a Georgian dining room that can seat up to 30 of your loved ones for intimate celebrations. This offers a lovely formal option in the summer months or even shelter from the temperamental British weather the rest of the year. It's also licensed for ceremonies. You have the choice of several fields in which to host your celebrations, all set in the glorious Kent countryside on a working farm. Each can host up to 150 guests and comes complete with water and electricity, offering a blank canvas. There's also accommodation on site for 30 people, plus space for campers. The venue is fully booked for 2021, but has availability for 2022 and 2023 and is taking bookings now.
Surrounded by 150 acres of stunning landscape in the heart of the Kentish countryside, you'll find The BarnYard wedding venue. Home to a beautiful barn conversion and a luxurious permanent grand marquee with a capacity of 300, it's both tranquil and charming in equal measure. The beautiful lawn is a wonderful location for a glass of bubbly following the ceremony. There are also some terrific photo opportunities on the romantic wooden bridge, which is built over a cobble garden and set among some stunning landscaping, with a view of the orchards, woodland and rolling fields beyond. The venue offers a fine-dining experience, with a menu created from fresh and locally sourced ingredients for traditional three-course wedding breakfasts through to barbecues and hog roasts.
