Avoid a pet custody dispute - get a petnup
Ella Welsby, a senior associate at law firm DMH Stallard and specialist divorce lawyer, explains below how...
The wedding cake has always been a much-loved tradition, whether served as a dessert or as a take-home treat for your guests. Not only does it offer a delicious delight it also serves as a showstopping centrepiece to your reception space, which nowadays is nothing short of a work of art. We chatted to some of the county’s wedding cake makers and asked them to tell us about their own dream big-day bakes.
Oh my, I think it would have to be a cake with lots of beautiful life-size sugar flowers on it, in bright and realistic colours to reflect the couples' wedding blooms. The flowers would be in a huge spray at the front of the cake, as though they were sitting in a vase. For a bit of fun maybe adding a model of the couple's pets looking out from behind the flowers would be great.
If the couple didn't want to have sugar flowers then it would be a full-on themed cake with lots of models and images, reflecting their loves, favourite films, books and TV shows etc. Something that would make guests instantly understand that the cake was designed specifically for the happy couple.

It would be a huge six-tiered cake, covered in edible lace, sugar pearls and alternating flowers, hanging on a crystal chandelier in the spot light with beams of light hitting it from all angles. The closer you get the more draws you in with scents that'll tantalise you and make you crave a slice, but it will hang there so delicately you wouldn't want to cut it!
