Frasers to hold its first wedding and events showcase
Following a bumper year for couples wanting to tie the knot having endured a long wait due to Covid, stylish country eco venue Frasers of Egerton is hosting its first ever Wedding and Events Open Showcase on 26th and 27th September 2021 to accommodate rising demand.
Following a bumper year for couples wanting to tie the knot after enduring a long wait due to Covid, stylish country eco venue Frasers of Egerton is hosting its first ever Wedding and Events Open Showcase on 26th and 27th September 2021 to accommodate rising demand.
Set on a 300-acre farm estate deep in the Kent countryside, Frasers is surrounded by nature and an expanse of wildflower planted fields, woods, and grasslands. Perfect for weddings, events and parties, Frasers has a traditional oak-framed function space, two outside terraces, a container bar serving cocktails on tap, plus a large party marquee -- all of which can be used for events.
The open days are split across two dates and will run from 11am to 4pm with selected suppliers on-hand to show examples of their work.
The first date on Sunday 26th September is primarily for prospective wedding couples wishing to view the romantic country venue and see the space dressed for the celebration. There will be wedding planners and suppliers available to discuss each couple's wedding vision as well as the opportunity to check-out the ceremony spaces and learn about the new banqueting options of feasting menus and tapas-style small plates.
The second date on Monday 27th September is for event managers and wedding planners to see the idyllic venue for themselves and learn how it can be adapted to suit and support external organisers’ clients, businesses and brides. The Frasers’ events team will be on hand to showcase what is on offer and to give tours of the accommodation and wider farm spaces that can be used for weddings and parties as well as corporate team-building activities such as yoga, foraging and mindfulness.
Frasers can accommodate events and weddings of varying size from an intimate boutique ceremony and private dining in the beautiful oak-frame Kentish barn through to a grand country garden celebration in an exquisitely dressed marquee on the lawn. On-site accommodation provides rooms for 20 guests in either traditional converted farm buildings or in the contemporary and stylish Stag’s Barn.
