Newly-licensed Kent venue Fort Burgoyne is now welcoming wedding bookings. It's an announcement that comes right on time for many couples who've experienced long delays and cancellations due to Covid. The venue will be working with venue stylists Diamond Circle Weddings to offer bespoke ceremonies and receptions to couples waiting to walk down the aisle.
The historical Fort dates back to the 1860s, when it was built to protect Dover Castle. Although it has been refurbished since then, the imposing facade, abundant space and hidden tunnels make it a truly impressive spot if you're looking for a location with character for your big day. It offers a choice of several spaces to tie the knot with options to say “I do” inside in the ceremony room, or al fresco overlooking Dover Castle in the Shooting Gallery or on the Parade Ground.
Each wedding can be tailored to your individual wants, needs and dreams and, depending on the style you're looking for, you can enjoy anything from a luxury afternoon tea as part of a large celebration or an intimate ceremony overlooking the grounds.
