Ramsgate prepares to celebrate 200 years of Royal Harbour status
After enjoying his time in the town so much following an international trip to Hanover, Germany via Ramsgate, King George IV, on his return, gifted the harbour Royal ascent. 2021 marks 200 years since King George IV officially declared Ramsgate harbour as 'Royal' in 1821. It is still the only royal harbour in the country to this day. In recognition of this special 200th anniversary, a grand festival will occur over three days around the beachfront and harbour area. The main event includes the Royal Navy bringing two of their fleet to the harbour, and the world-famous Tall Ship 'The Royalist' will also be anchored within the harbour during that weekend.

Formed by brothers Jon and Dan in 2019, the Kent-based bar company offers flexible packages for events throughout Kent and beyond. The company has a variety of bar setups available, from the hand-crafted mint green horsebox, rustic pop-uk bar and prosecco piano, to their new home festival package, ideal for al fresco gatherings. Kent shoot: Ain't no party like a woodland party
If you loved our Woodland Wonder shoot in the Jul/Aug issue of Your Kent Wedding magazine, here's some more! While on location, the team also shot another angle and created a festival hen party vibe with a twist! The Milkshake Kisses workshop brought Coachella to Kent with glamping tents, girls in festival outfits, smoke bombs and plenty of glitter.
