The Alexander Centre is an attractive Victorian building in the heart of Faversham, a picturesque Medieval market town. The structure’s impressive facade makes a real statement within the town’s architecture and features a grand portico, which makes for gorgeous photographs. Its convenient location ensures it’s easy to get to and there are numerous facilities nearby including hotels and B&Bs to accommodate your guests.
Ceremonies take place in the Jubilee Room – a light and airy heritage room with large windows, high ceilings, detailed cornicing and parquet flooring.
The Gatefield Hall is the largest hall in the area making it ideal for weddings with substantial guest lists. It boasts a high, vaulted ceiling and can be dressed with drapes providing a blank canvas, which can be decorated to suit. It opens out onto a private, secluded garden, which can accommodate gazebos for guests or even a bouncy castle for the 16 children. Alongside the Hall is a separate bar and lounge area, also included in the wedding hire.
For more intimate gatherings there are several smaller interconnecting heritage rooms available. The venue prides itself on being flexible ensuring its happy couples can have the day they want. It also offers a space for you to get ready before the ceremony along with access on the evening before the big day. You can also come in the next day to collect your belongings, so you don’t have to worry about removing everything the moment celebrations draw to a close.
