NEW VENUE ALERT! Introducing The Moody Mare

The Moody Mare is an 18th-century pub nestled on the edge of Mereworth woods. The pub is renowned for its beautiful, quaint, idyllic location, boasting both unusual and beautiful features; this venue is a place where enchanting ambience meets a foodie's perfect adventure.

The tipis set within the grounds are dressed with rustic wooden chandeliers and one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture for a burst of character. Stylishly presented with warm tones, there's a private bar to pick up a Pimms or hot chocolate, depending on the weather! The three tipis can all be adorned in your own personal touches and the venue's wedding planner can help create a space that exceeds all of your expectations. Go as far as your imagination will take you.

Make your way through its wooden doors and into the cosy fire-lit barn with exposed floors and beams with plenty of original features. It's quirkiness and originality make for a memorable spot to say "I do." It can host 50 of your nearest and dearest for a celebrant-led ceremony, with capacity for 75 for the reception. The tipis can also accommodate celebrant-led ceremonies, and can hold 100. Then, when the partying begins the space will hold up to 150.

At the moment, the venue is happy to host fabulous micro weddings for 15 guests. Both the Garden Room and the tips are perfect for such an occasion and will be set up beautifully to create an intimate space that feels suitably special for your big day.
